the retreat...

The heat burning my soul. I see mirage on the road. I have been chasing emptiness all my life. Milky way bright, in the fading twilight. Unfulfilled wishes, of stars falling in the night. I have been praying all my life. Rough wind caught in my eyes. Eroded dreams and bitter lonliness hidden in my tearless cries. I've been travelling all my life. Searching for that one retreat, where I could spend all my life.

Hi:) I see you've added three more posts since I've last been here...nice;)

That one retreat is inside your heart, not outside somewhere.Everywhere you are...if you feel the outside with your heart, that very place shall become the retreat you long for!A bit paradoxical but it works!

Paradoxical.. Hmm... Actually, the retreat that I am refering to is a person :) Someone who I think will complete my existence in this world. :-D

Life's like that :)Sometimes I feel like why is it going on? whats this? We think deeply abt it when are tensed. Lately I was thinking that all my thoughts and the way I spent my life till now was wrong!? We talk so much about life. And yet not clear at all. All vague. :) Dunno wot I mean...

I guess u should try reading "Rajyog" by Swami Vivekanand. It's a small book and I'm sure that you'd find it interesting. I'm serious! And if you find that good, then go for "An Autobiography of a Yogi". These books don't talk about religion. It depends upon your perception, so I can't guarantee that you'd definitely find answers to your questions, but it's very likely that you would...

Or in a nutshell, just give enough reasons to yourself that'd make you believe that you did make a difference in someone's life, that you are happy with what you have and that you won't regret doing or not doing anything in life... :)

We look to fill the void in our life by looking here and there and everywhere, if we only look inwards... into our hearts and our souls , our love, life and dreams , try and understand and accept who we are - faults and all- therein lies retreat but since u say its a person - i think u need to look some more - I think every one of us feels like that at one point of time you sum it up in your own unique way...
